# Create a New Wallet
### Create a new wallet in Mobile App
**Step 1**: Enter the app, click "**Create or Import Wallet**", choose "**Create Wallet**", and accept Zecrey Privacy Policy to proceed.
**Step 2**: Confirm and back up your secret phrase carefully. Always keep it somewhere safe and do not take a screenshot or share it with anyone. You can view your secret phrase later in Privacy & Security.
**Step 3**: Set a 6-digit password for account security and transaction confirmation. If you forget the wallet password, you will need to reset Zecrey wallet in the setting, and re-import your account with the recovery phrase and set a new password.

### Create a new wallet in Extension
**Step 1**: Click "**Get Started**" in the extension and choose "**Create Wallet**" on the page you are redirected to.
**Step 2**: Set a 6-digit password for account security and transaction confirmation. The wallet password cannot be changed directly. If you forget the password, you will need to reset Zecrey wallet, and re-import your account with the recovery phrase, and set a new password.
**Step 3**: Get your secret phrase, confirm and back up it carefully. Always keep it somewhere safe and do not take a screenshot or share it with anyone. You can view your secret phrase later in Privacy & Security.
