Step2. Zecrey L1 wallet usage

Multi-chain Assets Management

  1. 1.
Zecrey wallet provide multi-chain assets management in one interface.
  2. 2.
There are two different ways to sort assets. One is by chain network, the other is by token type. The default sort option is token type.

L1 Transfer

  1. 1.
Click "Transfer" to select a token.
  2. 2.
Enter another L1 address to receive, input the transfer amount and choose an appropriate gas fee.
  3. 3.
The type of gas fee burned in L1 transactions depends on the network that you make a transfer on. For example, if you make a transfer on Avalanche FUJI C-Chain testnet, the gas fee is counted as AVAX. It might take a few seconds to confirm the transaction.
  4. 4.
The amount of transfer in L1 is not restricted now, but if you make transfers in a pretty small amount, it may be recorded as 0 in activities.

Deposit

What is Deposit? Are assets deposited to layer 2 on different chains?

Deposit is to put assets into layer 2 for cross-chain transactions.
Assets deposited to L2 are not distinguished by their original chains. That is what we call aggregated assets. In Zecrey, the concept of chain no longer exists in L2. The zk-rollup based L2 performs off-chain calculation with complex zk-proof, and verifies the process on L1 chains, with its security rooted in L1.

How to Deposit?

  1. 1.
Click "Deposit" to select a token. You can click on different networks to view tokens or just enter the token's name to search.
  2. 2.
Input the deposit amount within the limit of balance.
  3. 3.
Wait for the gas fee to be computed and click "Confirm" to settle.
  4. 4.
Or you can deposit to other L2 accounts.
  5. 5.
Once the transaction on L1 is confirmed, the deposit will be added to L2 wallet balance.
  6. 6.
The amount of deposit has a bottom limit of 0.0001.

Lock Assets

What is Lock Assets?

Locking is a mechanism in which users cannot trade the locked assets for a certain period of time after locking. The purpose of locking assets is to deepen the depth of the L1 fund pool and avoid the situation where users cannot withdraw assets. In Zecrey' subsequent versions, users can obtain REY at a certain annual interest rate as rewards of locking assets.

How to Lock Assets?

  1. 1.
Click "Lock Assets" to select a token. You can click on different networks to view tokens or just enter the token's name to search.
  2. 2.
Pay attention to the amount and source network of the token, the proportion of locked token from different networks is displayed.
  3. 3.
As mentioned, when transactions take place in L1, the gas fee is paid with the token on related networks. Confirm the transaction.
  4. 4.
The assets are locked safely, and users can get a reward from the pledge.
  5. 5.
You will get rewards for locking assets at a given APR.
  6. 6.
The amount of lock assets has a bottom limit of 0.0001.
  7. 7.
Total amount locked of one token indicates the amount in whole system.
